Here's a little bit of history about Hyde Automotive Service Center. It was founded by Bill Hyde on June 21st, 1959. He continued the business until 1989 when his son, Mark Hyde, took over as the owner and operator. Mark continued to build what his father started. The shop is situated on 12th and May and has serviced the people of Oklahoma City, the Miller Neighborhood and surrounding areas to this day. Mark treated everyone with respect and tried his best to make automotive repair costs affordable. Today, Hyde Auto still uses the latest technology and strives for excellence in all aspects of car repair. Customers and their vehicles matter. Mark's philosophy; "It's basically getting your name out and earning the trust of your neighbors, believing that longevity is a great key to trust - taking the time to know your friends and neighbors and to sit down and listen to them. So, it's the recognition of who you are and what you stand for and that you are there to help someone". Today, Hyde Auto still strives to deliver that philosophy. Mark passed away in February 2023. The shop has been leased since April, 2023 to present day. It is a viable, successful business and now it is time for someone else to continue the legacy that Mark and his father built over the last 65 years.
